Hiring a Program Management Intern

Location: Remote (European Time Zone Required) but see requirement about IEFP ATIVAR qualification.

Start Date: August 2024

Duration: TBD (3 -12 months). Initially starting part-time (15 hours per week), eventually going full-time (40 hours per week).

Our programs are designed for anyone involved in technology, from UX designers and software engineers to entrepreneurs and company leaders. With a focus on live sessions, practical exercises, and expert-led masterclasses, we provide a comprehensive learning experience to over 2000 participants from around the world​.

Role Description:

Overview: As a Program Management Intern at One Month PM, you will learn a bunch. From planning, coordination, and execution of our programs to ensuring smooth operations, engaging content, and successful program delivery. This internship includes mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals.

Overview of stuff you'll do (initially coached, and eventually by yourself):

  • Schedule and Logistics Management:
  1. Assist in creating and maintaining program schedules.
  2. Coordinate logistics for live sessions and events.
  3. Ensure timely communication and updates to all stakeholders.
  • Live Sessions and Moderation:
  1. Participate in live sessions, providing support and moderation.
  2. Host and facilitate conversations, ensuring active engagement and participation.
  3. Manage technical aspects of virtual sessions, including troubleshooting.
  • Guest Booking and Invitations:
  1. Identify and invite experts and guest speakers for program sessions.
  2. Manage communications and scheduling with guests.
  3. Ensure a positive experience for all participants and speakers.
  • Content Management:
  1. Update website content related to programs.
  2. Write engaging and informative content for program pages.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Product Development:
  1. Assist in the development and launch of new program-related products.
  2. Gather feedback from participants to inform product improvements.
  3. Lead small projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Participant Support:
  1. Provide support and answer questions from program participants.
  2. Ensure prompt and helpful responses to participant inquiries.
  3. Manage invoicing and billing situations with participants.
  • Partnership and Membership Growth:
  1. Reach out to companies to help grow our membership partners.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current partners.
  3. Work on strategies to increase membership and engagement.
  • Lead Generation and Expansion:
  1. Deal with leads and lead generation agencies.
  2. Assist in growing the product and program across multiple countries in Europe.
  3. Implement strategies to expand our reach and impact in new markets.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Communications, Marketing, Project Management).
  • Must be qualifiable for Portuguese IEFP internships (ATIVAR.PT). If you're unsure, see here before applying.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially spoken english).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • No specific hard skills required; this is an internship.

  • Paid internship. Payment corresponds to the total worked hours. Part-time internship has a different payment compared to full-time internship. Full-time internship will be integrated in upcoming ATIVAR estΓ‘gios (IEFP).
